Slow Food Lake Tahoe is offering additional compost drop-off sites this year at the Truckee Certified Farmers Market on Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Oct. 10 at Truckee River Regional Park, as well as at the Demonstration Garden at the park.
Year-round collection bins are located at Truckee Town Hall at 10183 Truckee Airport Road. Compost brought to these locations will be used to feed the soil in the Food Bank Garden. | slowfoodlaketahoe.org
