Golf, ski on the same day in Tahoe

Old Brockway Golf Course | Katherine E. Hill

The seemingly erratic spring weather has not disappointed this month as snow storms have dumped fresh snow in the higher elevations, while golf courses have opened around Lake Tahoe and the Lost Sierra. Enjoy Tahoe’s topsy-turvy weather and make the most of spring.

While most ski areas are now closed for the season, three downhill resorts and one Nordic area are still open with even more snow expected this week. Donner Ski Ranch also announced that it will reopen for one weekend after receiving an additional 2 feet of snow. Check operating schedules and conditions before visiting.
