Due to staffing shortages, Sand Harbor State Park’s boat ramp and north parking lot will be closed Wednesdays and Thursdays for the reminder of the season, according to Nevada State Park. Visitors can still access the beach and south parking lots. During these closures, visitors can use the boat ramp at Cave Rock State Park or another public boat ramp.
