While Tahoe’s downhill ski areas are preparing to open for the 2023-24 season, several cross-country resorts will also be opening in the coming weeks. Auburn Ski Club on Donner Summit could be open by the time this edition of Tahoe Guide comes out. Check their Facebook page for the latest updates.
Tahoe Donner Cross County is slated to open on Nov. 24. Royal Gorge announced on Nov. 29 that it’s new targeting opening date is now Dec. 8.
