Lisa has been teaching at Lake Tahoe Community College since 2007. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from University of Nevada, Reno and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from National University and teaches English during the academic year. In the spring and summer, she leads wildflower hikes for LTCC’s Wilderness Education Department and Community Connect program. She has also conducted instructional hikes for the Tahoe Rim Trail Association, California State Parks and the Tahoe Institute for Natural Science. Lisa’s extensive wildflower library is featured at tahoecnps.org, the Web site for the California Native Plant Society’s Tahoe chapter, and at wildflowercat.carbonmade.com, which features her photography and seasonal wildflower logs.
