Incline Mountain Course ·
The 18-hole, par 58 mountain course demands more accuracy than its sister course, Incline Championship Course. It will challenge golfers of all ability levels, albeit not your long game. This course is all natural and a tribute to its designer, Robert Trent Jones Jr., with every hole abounding with creativity and character in design, while many have great views of Lake Tahoe.
Toughest Hole
The par 3, 8th hole is the No. 1 handicap hole. This hole requires that you take enough club off the tee to avoid the large bunker that guards the hole in the front. It is the longest par 3 of the course measuring approximately 200 yards. The safe play would be to lay up short of the green and bunker so that you can leave this hole with no worse than a bogey, assuming you can get a good read on this tricky green. If you want the high risk, high return shot, take out one of your middle irons and go for it.
Signature Hole
The par 3, 15th hole, is an extreme, downhill hole that can be downright scary from the tee box. The hole measures 117 yards from the tee box with the green several hundred feet below. While at the tee box, be sure to take in the incredible scenery with gorgeous lake views. For the long hitters, I would recommend a lofted wedge swung easy.
