The second annual Kirkwood Bikes & Brews returns on July 28 in the Kirkwood Village Plaza from 1 to 6 p.m. With live music, mountain-bike events, a barbecue feast, unlimited beer sampling from 23 breweries, a rock wall, Euro-bungee trampolines, face painting, bull riding, food trucks and more, this event has something for everyone. This year Kirkwood Mountain Resort will be hosting an after party with live music from All-Star Jam and drinks for those who want to continue the fun from 6 to 8 p.m.
Kirkwood Super “D” Junior Bike races start at 8 a.m.; registration is at 7 a.m. The race categories are Girls and Boys ages 7 to 9, ages 10 to 13 and ages 14 to 17. The cost is $10 per category, lift ticket not included. There will be a bike demo and shop support in Chair 6 parking lot from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Tickets are $50; $20 for kids activities. Guests with tickets receive free use of the bus shuttle.
