The Truckee Trails Foundation and U.S. Forest Service will be working on Jackass Trail this summer to adopt 1.71 miles of existing user-created trail and construct another 2 miles of non-motorized single track creating a loop system, as well as building a new, safer trailhead that avoids travel on Highway 89.
