After 17 years, the popular Blue Angel Café has closed in South Lake Tahoe. The cafe was a favorite among locals and visitors, offering friendly service and tasty cuisine, including vegan and gluten-free options.
“Restaurants have a critical schedule that is completely inverted to the schedule of our three school-aged children. We cannot miss these years with them,” owners Jeff and Rosie Cowen wrote in a e-blast to customers announcing the closure.
