The Tahoe City Public Utility District has completed the Draft Environmental Impact Report for the proposed Tahoe Cross-Country Replacement and Expansion Project and is open for public review and comment. The plan includes repurposing the historic Schilling Lodge to become the new center and other improvements for the cross-country ski area. In the summer, the property is a popular location for mountain bikers.
