Sky Tavern obtained a long-term lease to operate the resort and the board planned a new summer vision to extend its trail system for hikers and mountain bikers and to link to trail systems in Tahoe and Reno.
The highlight will include an uphill trail that will connect Tamarack trail to the Galena area downhills, five downhill trails based on skill, a dual slalom twice for big-wheel bikes, two skills courses that will allow for practicing skills in a safe and progressive manner, adaptive trails for E-handcycles, cyclo-cross trails, a pump track and pushbike trail.
