Arts For The Schools Mural Project recently finished its first mural. A group of local students worked for 8 days to brainstorm, design and paint the mural, located in the new community park in downtown Truckee, according to a release from the group.
A core of 9 students painted almost every day, putting in more than 40 hours on the mural, with a total of 20 students participating during the week. The mural was created in partnership with Tridentata Arts (a grassroots group of artists). | artsfortheschools.org
