Travis Ganong races to win the U.S. Super G title at Squaw Valley in this photograph taken on March 22, 2013. “He’s heading down Julia’s Gold toward the finish line, keeping it low as he crosses Easy Street where most of the racers caught big air. That may have given him the advantage, he won by 0.2 sec,” said photographer Harry Lefrak, LefrakPhotography.com. Travis is one of many local athletes that will be competing in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. See feature in this edition.
