The staff at Tahoe Powder was intrigued when a group of skiers who also happen to be engineers approached us at the SnowBomb Ski & Snowboard Festival in San Francisco in 2014 to tell us about their invention – GogglePal.

GogglePal may be mounted on ski goggles and uses augmented reality technology to track and share one’s day on the slopes through the companion iPhone app. The device tracks speed, vertical, rotation, acceleration and calories with data appearing on a display inside the goggles.
No need to purchase new equipment as GogglePal may be mounted to any pair of goggles. It comes with a rechargeable battery pack that lasts eight hours. Use GogglePal to review personal stats and track routes, pinpoint one’s location on a resort map, locate and track friends, and more. GogglePal will start shipping pre-orders in January 2016. | gogglepal.com
