Palisades Tahoe’s new gondola debuting for the 2022-23 season will be known as the Palisades Tahoe Base to Base Gondola, the resort announced on Aug. 22. The ski resort will open for the season on Nov. 22. Vail has also announced its opening dates (see details in this edition.)
The Base to Base Gondola will connect the two valleys of the resort – Olympic Valley and Alpine Meadows – making Palisades Tahoe one of the largest ski resorts in North America. The gondola will span 2.4 miles and ascend nearly 2,000 vertical feet, allowing skiers and riders to take in breathtaking views during the 16-minute journey. The gondola will offer easy transit between the resort’s two base areas and lift access for expert skiers and snowboards to the top of KT-22. | gondola.palisadestahoe.com
