Phish fall tour under way

Phish opened their highly anticipated fall tour at the Times Union Center in Albany, N.Y.

The two-night run is just the beginning of their fall tour, which culminates in a costumed finish at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

After playing Lake Tahoe this summer,  a natural disaster canceled their summer festival (Curveball), the band and the fans are looking to put it behind them and share in the groove. Historically, the band covers an album for Halloween and wears a costume to match. The album they will cover is everyone’s guess, the band is known for how well they keep their secrets.

Regardless, it will be a fans’ delight to catch a show this tour, especially their three-set Halloween show. Albany showed fans they are well tuned up. Especially after the greatest disappointment in their long history with Curveball festival being canceled, they are sure to play some shows to remind fans why they should always make the journey.
