Aug. 31 | 7:30 p.m. | Valhalla Boathouse Theatre | South Lake Tahoe
The annual Valhalla Boathouse Theatre fundraiser stars Sarah Nutting and Karisha Longaker of folk revival duo MaMuse alongside West African jazz-fusion musicians Mamadou Sidibe and Walter Strauss of The Fula Brothers. The combo metamorphoses into FulaMuse, a double dose of heart rhythms to uplift body and soul and rouse the collective spirit. Proceeds will benefit the Boathouse Theatre lighting improvement fund. | valhallatahoe.com
