Pamela Parker is a force of nature. She sports 1940s–style jet–black hair, blood-red lips and wild, white circular-framed glasses, all of which lend to an undeniable stage presence. Still, the music— her powerhouse sound — is what really makes her an electric guitarist and lead singer to be reckoned with. So far this year, she’s released two singles: “Money” and “Chains,” which tells you all you need to know about her worldview.
