Los Angeles folk-rock darlings Dawes, formed by prodigious brothers Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith, have been leading a contemporary renaissance of the Laurel Canyon sound since 2009. Their most recent album was 2022’s jammed-out “Misadventures of Doomscroller.” This year has already seen the shimmeringly suggestive single “This Is Life” with Winnetka Bowling League and Medium Build and a 10th anniversary reissue of fan favorite LP “Stories Don’t End.”
